About prayer times in Sharm El Sheikh
Prayer times in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, shift a little every day as the sun's path changes through the year. Muslims here observe five daily prayers — Fajr before dawn, Dhuhr after midday, Asr in the afternoon, Maghrib just after sunset, and Isha at night — and this page gives the exact time of each, for every day of 2026. SalahTime computes them for Sharm El Sheikh (27.9158, 34.33) with precise solar-position mathematics, following the Egyptian General Authority of Survey convention used in Egypt. The “Today” card above always shows the current day's times, calculated live in your browser.
This page uses the Egyptian General Authority of Survey convention (19.5° for Fajr, 17.5° for Isha) — the official standard across Egypt, and the one behind mosque timetables throughout Sharm El Sheikh. If you learned prayer times from a local mosque calendar, they will match this page to the minute in almost every case.
Sharm El Sheikh keeps Africa/Cairo time (UTC+02:00) and observes daylight saving in 2026, shifting to UTC+03:00 in the warmer months. SalahTime computes against the IANA timezone database, so any clock change is applied automatically — the times here always match the local clock in Sharm El Sheikh.
