Beneficial Knowledge and Good Provision

Source: Sunan Ibn Majah 925

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا، وَعَمَلًا مُتَقَبَّلًا

Transliteration

Allahumma inni as'aluka 'ilman nafi'an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa 'amalan mutaqabbala.

Translation

O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, wholesome provision, and accepted deeds.

What this dua means

The three things a believer's day should produce: knowledge that helps, earnings that are pure, and deeds Allah accepts.

When to read it

Every morning after Fajr.

Virtue

The Prophet ﷺ would say this every morning after the dawn prayer. (Ibn Majah 925)
