Help Me Remember You
اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ
Transliteration
Allahumma a'inni 'ala dhikrika, wa shukrika, wa husni 'ibadatik.
Translation
O Allah, help me to remember You, to thank You, and to worship You in the best manner.
What this dua means
Worship needs help — even remembrance. You ask Allah for assistance in the three pillars: remembering Him, thanking Him, worshipping Him well.
When to read it
After every prayer — the Prophet ﷺ told Mu'adh never to abandon it.
Virtue
The Prophet ﷺ took Mu'adh's hand and said: 'O Mu'adh, by Allah I love you — so never abandon saying this after every prayer.' (Abu Dawud 1522)
