When You Wake Up
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ
Transliteration
Alhamdu lillahilladhi ahyana ba'da ma amatana wa ilayhin-nushur.
Translation
Praise is to Allah who gave us life after having taken it from us, and to Him is the resurrection.
What this dua means
Sleep is the little death; waking is a little resurrection. The first words of your day are gratitude for another chance.

The moment you wake up — before touching your phone.
